Voila!

And the finished products... three happy kids, two pumpkin faces, and one pumpkin moon!

Jack-O-Lanterns!

Two weeks ago when Grandma and Grandpa Henney came to visit,
we decided to make Jack-O-Lanterns. First we picked out our pumpkins!
We cut out star-shaped lids and scooped out the slimy insides...
Daddy helped Micah cut his pumpkins' face out,
and Grandma helped Abigail make a face "with two teeth!"

Daddy & his Kids!

Helping Micah with a word puzzle

Playing in the rain (with a good measure of shrieking and laughing)!

Reading books and having a picnic snack in the backyard.

Is Daddy the greatest, or what!?

See for yourself!

Viewing some of Micah's first efforts.

Micah Jeffrey Henney, 5 years old

We are so proud of our Micah and wanted to spotlight him in this post.
We love his dimpled smile and the joy that so easily shows in him!
God has given him a sensitive heart, and one of Micah's favorite things
is to learn about God or to compare to how big God is.
(Recent example: "I love you all the way from the foundation
up to the top of God's hair and back!")

He is succeeding at new challenges and quick to learn... especially regarding the way things work... "how, what for, what does that do" are some of his favorite questions.

He has recently learned to ride his bike without training wheels. Riding he can do quite well... starting and stopping alone, well, that's another story.
Our boy turned 5 on Wednesday! He had a great day full of swimming with our friends Shelley and the Shaughnessys, riding tricycles on a chalk city on the driveway, and having a party complete with dump truck cake with Grandma & Grandpa Sander and Aunt Elena.

Yes, They All Love Her

Already I can't count the number of times Abigail has said,
"Hi, Corrie... hi, Corrie... hi, Corrie" (which sounds more like "koi")!

Anna continually wants to hold her new sister, and does a very good job, too.

Micah thinks Corrie is pretty great...
but what he really loves is Daddy being home so much these days!

Corrie Joan at 8 days old.
We think she looks the most like Micah did as a newborn.
(both of them cuties, of course)

Corrie Joan Henney

Probably won't win Miss America for this photo... but not bad for a newborn picture!

Proud D.A.D. was the delivering M.D. Wow!

Relieved Mom is just glad the waiting is over... and so glad to meet Corrie!

And, of course, the kiddos. All of them showing their excitement in their own ways.

Corrie Joan Henney, may you reflect God's glory in your own life
just as your two namesakes have before you. You are truly a "gift of God".

Clearing the Confusion!

For the last 5 months, we have been posting to this blog while almost everyone we know was checking our blog at a DIFFERENT web address! SORRY!

Hopefully the confusion is now cleared up as we just changed the address of the blog to the one you have been checking for the last 5 months. Thanks for reading!

More fun pictures from Fort Worth

Abigail wanted SO badly to sleep in Micah and Anna's bed too!

The kids and their doctor daddy at the hospital where they were born.

Beautiful Abigail!
At our old house. The only thing that hasn't fallen apart is the patio we worked hard to get just right!

Back to Texas at last!

A few pictures of our recent trip back to Texas...

The whole family at Mommy's old school. I think the kids were just a little floored that Mommy ever had another life besides them!

Possibly the highlight of the trip for Micah. He's not a bad driver, considering his lack of experience.

The family took a train ride, and when we actually started moving, Abigail decided she wasn't terrified after all.

At a McDonald's play area.

Our Second Niece!!

We went to Cincinnati this weekend to meet our new niece... Paige Janelle Henney, welcome to the family!! Such a sweetie and as cuddly as can be. Brittany, you're more of a natural than I was with my first! Grandma H. also arrived to meet her, and was so excited to have most of her grandkids in one place. (We missed Jay!)

Micah loves babies, apparently. He was eager to hold Paige and so gentle with her. He and Anna both loved giving her a bottle, and Micah would have cuddled with her longer than we let him!

Daily Delights

I guess Anna was more tired than I thought...

And Micah, pretending to squirt me with his "water gun" pitcher,
then taking refuge from my "squirting" under Daddy's desk.

Abigail, on the other hand, has an ear infection and a fever and has slept the day away. Poor girl.
