Yes, we do have other kids...

Enjoying the water-hopscotch from Aunt Kala and Uncle Jeremy!

This little trio came trooping into my room to serenade me with a hymn one morning.

At a sports party we were recently invited to
 with coworkers from the hospital.

Daddy's team came from behind to win at badminton,
or as it's called here, "Hit-the-bird-feather-flower".

Always something new to try!

August-- Getting alert!

Does it get any more loveable than this face?!

Baby pictures

Corrie enjoying her new sister, and being Big Sister after 5 years of being Little Sister!
(What happened to her head?  She got pushed by another Big Sister while we were at the hospital.)

Karisa was born a few days after a military coup in Thailand.
There was a country-wide curfew, and armed military stationed at many points throughout the city for a least a month.  Maybe still, I don't know...

 2 days old.

 Dreaming of Mommy's milk?

Caught the elusive smile on camera!

Happy Birthday, Abigail!

Not too often does one get a new sibling for a birthday present.  But we were able to come home from the hospital at noon on Abbi's birthday, just in time to join the lunchtime celebration.  The place we were staying made her an awesome cake!

Abbi loves broccoli.  No, I mean Abbi REALLY loves broccoli.  So she asked for a cake with broccoli on it.  Well, I wasn't there to make the cake, but with Anna's help, we were able to see that Abbi's piece had broccoli.  I don't think it was as yummy as she thought it would be, but it was fun!

Then what could be better than watching your all-time favorite movie, Frozen, in Daddy's lap, with a ton of friends?

Presents, of course.  Mom wasn't sure how to get "books about how to take care of animals, like really take care of them, because I'm going to have a farm, and a hospital for animals, and be a vet."  But shortly before the big day, Somebody sent a horse encyclopedia and dog book to an annual garage sale, which Mom got to go to for the first time this year!

A special bike ride with Daddy, even beating the train to the station.

And finally, a picnic supper with the family and even Karisa.
A great birthday for a big 7-year-old!  We love our Abbi!

And the arrival of Karisa Jamie!

*Note: Apologies to everyone who checked the blog, excited to see the new baby Henney, and found a bunch of captions with no pictures!!  Terrible!!  I didn't realize this was true, and when I did, our internet wasn't working well enough to fix it.
Here I have fixed the problem, and added a couple new photos too.  So sorry!

The family at breakfast before leaving for the hospital.

Abbi was probably the most excited sibling (but they were all thrilled)...

Proud Daddy and healthy girl!

Peace after the storm.

Hooray!!  She's finally, finally HERE!  Abbi couldn't wait!  She wants 100 more.

Micah actually didn’t want a brother; he said he’d just be tagging along with him all the time.  Maybe 5 years ago wouldn’t have been too late for a brother!

The girls immediately began asking, “Can I hold her?  Can we change her clothes?”  Karisa was not very happy by the time they finished!

5 Henney Kids!  5 Big Blessings!!
